Christmas

We had a great week in Kingsport. Of course, the time flew by. We enjoyed time with both families. We were also able to visit with my cousin, her husband and baby. After returning to Knoxville, our friends, the Broomes, stopped by for a visit. It was great seeing everyone!

Sleep...what is that?

Our sweet little Maddie has had a difficult time with sleep lately, which in turn, has affected mommy and daddy's sleep. I miss my sleep! At least Riley is still sleeping like a log. We are getting excited about Christmas. We will be heading to Kingsport next week to visit family. Merry Christmas!

Andy's Work

One of Andy's designs made it onto the Wired website. The article is about the fastest computers in the world. The massive illustration of the Jaguar (1st pict on the site) was designed by Andy!

Rough Week

This has been a hard week. Maddie's reflux is getting worse. She doesn't always want to nurse when she should. So, we are headed out to see the dr this afternoon. We started her on axid when she was 6 weeks old (she is 17 weeks old today!). That med didn't work so we have been on zantac. The dr has increased the amount on three different occasions. Still, it doesn't seem to be working. She is not sleeping well at all. Last night, she was awake and fussy from 9-2:30.
Otherwise, things are going pretty well. Andy is still extremely busy with work. We are looking forward to starting our very own Thanksgiving tradition at our house this year. Wish me luck on cooking that turkey!!!

Kingsport Trip

Riley spent a week in October in Kingsport with the grandparents. Maddie and I traveled up there the week of Halloween to join him. I think everyone really enjoyed having the grandkids around. Riley's favorite thing to do was spend time outside running around in the yard. He also loved playing in the gravel and dirt...typical boy!
Maddie is doing pretty well. She is 14 weeks old. Her reflux has become more pronounced but she still smiles alot. She is still strictly nursing and growing like a weed!!!

Blessed Family

I have to say that God has truly blessed us with two wonderful children. I give thanks to Him daily for allowing Andy and me to be apart of their lives. Riley and Maddie bring us SO much joy!
