Jan/Feb 2010

January brought some snow to our region. Of course, Riley has had a blast playing in it. He gets so upset when it's time to come inside! He is doing very well at school, which he attends twice a week (nice break for mommy too).
Maddie is so very close to walking completely on her own. She still sees a PT once a week. She is getting stronger and stronger every day. Her teeth just keep coming in. All 4 molars have broken through. Now she is working on the canines.

The kiddos definitely keep us busy. But, we LOVE it!

Aug/Sept/Oct Updates

Is it REALLY November already? Since having two kids, time really does fly. Riley started pre-school the first of September. He goes twice a week and loves it. His speech is perfect now...no more speech therapy. He still goes to OT once a month for some sensory/fine motor issues, but is doing fantastic!

Maddie is 14 months old and is becoming more mobile every day. She started PT because of some muscle delays. She has weak pelvic and hip muscles which keep her from pulling up easily. She finally started crawling at 13 months. From her evaluations, the therapists do not believe she will have to go through much therapy. She is such a sweet baby. She is beginning to say many words and loves to color already. Her favorite past time is to follow Riley around and play with all his toys...he has not taken too well to this yet!

Riley was really sick on Halloween day so we did not go to any festivities. We still dressed them up in their costumes and took some pictures.
